Book experience- One arranged murder , by Chetan Bhagat

 Another blockbuster novel  from India's highest selling author Mr. Chetan Bhagat...
One arranged murder....The fresh and crisp story .
Back to back detective  stories from this most celebrated Indian novelist after his "The girl in room 105"  in the fiction series.
The caption asks us  not to cross the crime scene. This really tempts us to take the book and creates a curiosity. The struck out word in the title indicates its another family- crime -thriller  subject .

A girl died as soon as the novel begins .She fell down  from the terrace of her three storey house  and we could easily score out the possibilities of suicide and accident as the title itself led us to guess it must be a murder . What follows in the next 300 plus pages gives us a typical Chetan Bhagat experience which does not allow us to put down  the book even for a small break.

Like all his previous works this one  also goes in an express speed and I bet most of the readers especially the ones who  read Chetan first time would have finished in a single stroke .
Narration is the speciality of Chetan and he is the  master in this art.  He brings the scenes in front of our eyes and we sometimes look around as if the characters have come alive . Sometimes it looks more drama than a novel  with vivid dialogues and lively conversations .
He is one of the best script writers. Sharp and witty conversations make the reading very interesting. The style and language  are his real strength and make his writings ever lovable. Reading his works is always a  pleasant and sweet experience and this time also this magic happens ..thanks Mr. Chetan ...

Normally he elaborates  food and attires in his novels . Here ,one of the main characters is a big foodie and another one is flirty who dates a ultra modern girl , so this naturally  gives a big  space to him to  list out interesting recipes, hangout destinations which offer special menu  and attractive outfits with accessories. Detailing and accuracy show how the author would have worked home , collected data and cross checked them.

Fans and regular readers of Chetan can easily notice t so many routine scenes in the entire novel .. bachelor life.. ordering food online and in cafes, extramarital affairs, sex in the bachelor rooms, traffic tensions, a big -lavish spending  party in a royal family etc.etc..
But these are not really boring
even though we could find these kind of stuff in his previous works .The suspense  increases  gradually  in every chapter but it was an easy guess for me .I  was waiting to  know what would be given as the reason behind the murder . The climax scene is an absolute resemblance of his previous novel,the national best seller for 86 continuous weeks .Although the logics were very interesting the reason seemed an artificial emotion and the killer  character doesn't look like a smart idea .Apart from these minor bugs ,
No doubt , I assure this one will keep you entertained and hooked till the climax . Happy reading.

 தலைமையாசிரியர் என்று சேர்த்து எழுதிய போது தலைமை ஆசிரியர் என்று பிரித்துத்தானே எழுத வேண்டும், தலைமையாசிரியர் என்று சேர்த்து எழுதுவது பிழையல்லவா என நண்பர் ஒருவர் கேட்டார். கேட்டவர் யார் என்பது இப்பொழுது நினைவில் இல்லையென்றாலும் இதில் இருக்கும் இலக்கணம் என்ன என்பதைப் பார்க்கலாம். தலைமை + ஆசிரியர்---தலைமையாசிரியர்  இதுபோல் பிரித்து எழுதுக, சேர்த்து எழுதுக என்பவை எல்லாம் தொடக்க நிலை வகுப்புகளிலேயே தமிழ்ப் பாடத்தில் நமக்குத் தரப்படும் பயிற்சிகள்.  இரண்டு சொற்கள் ஒன்று சேர்வதைப் புணர்ச்சி என்கிறோம். முதலில் இருக்கும் சொல்லை நிலைமொழி என்றும், இரண்டாவதாக வரும் சொல்லை வருமொழி என்றும் சொல்வோம்.  இங்கு, தலைமை + ஆசிரியர் என்பதில் தலைமை என்பது நிலைமொழி. ஆசிரியர் என்பது வருமொழி.  உண்மையில் இரண்டு சொற்கள் இணையும் போது நிலைமொழியின் இறுதியெழுத்தும், வருமொழியின் முதலெழுத்தும்தான் புணர்கின்றன. இறுதியெழுத்தை ஈற்றெழுத்தென்போம்.சில இடங்களில் இயல்பாகவும் ,சில இடங்களில் மாற்றங்களுடனும் புணர்ச்சி நடைபெறும். உதாரணத்துக்கு, ஒன்றுடன் ஒன்று இணையும்‌ சொற்களின் இறுதியெழுத்து-முதலெழுத்து ...

எண்ணை.... எண்ணெய்...எது சரி ?

பலரும் எண்ணை என்று சொல்லியும் எழுதியும் வருகின்றனர். எண்ணெய் என்பதுதான் சரி. அதிலும் எண்ணெய்‌ என்பது நல்லெண்ணெய் எனப்படும் எள் எண்ணெயை மட்டுமே குறிக்கும் .ஆனால் வழக்கத்தில் எண்ணெய் என்பது பொதுப்பெயர் ஆகி வெகு நாட்கள் ஆகிவிட்டது. எள் +நெய் என்பதே எண்ணெய் எள் + நெய் ~ எண்ணெய் நெய் என்பது பொதுப்பெயராகத்தான் இருந்திருக்கிறது. எள்ளில் இருந்து எடுக்கப்படும் நெய்தான் எண்ணெய். எள்+ நெய் எப்படி எண்ணெய் ஆகிறது ....? மெய்யீற்றுப் புணர்ச்சி விதியைப் பார்ப்போம். இரண்டு சொற்கள் ஒன்றுடன் ஒன்று புணரும் போது முதற்சொல்லான நிலைமொழியின் இறுதி எழுத்து மெய்யெழுத்தாக இருந்தால் அது மெய்யீற்றுப் புணர்ச்சி ஆகும். எள் +நெய் என்பதில் 'ள்' என்னும் மெய்யெழுத்து நிலை மொழியின் ஈற்றெழுத்தாக இருக்கிறது. வருமொழியின் முதல் எழுத்துக்கள் 'த' அல்லது 'ந' என்பனவாக இருக்கும் பொழுது நிலை மொழியின் ஈற்றெழுத்துக்கள் ன்,ல்,ண்,ள் என்பனவாக இருந்தால் புணர்ச்சி எப்படி நடக்கும் எனக் கீழ்க்காணும் நன்னூல் விதி கூறுகிறது. ”னலமுன் றனவும், ணளமுன் டணவும், ஆகும் தநக்கள் ஆயுங் காலே” (நன்னூல், 237) இவ்வித...
